I love CHANEL beauty products for my complexion, their CC Cream is my all time favourite base when I want to achieve an easy and quick makeup with a good coverage and protection due to its SPF of 50.
I was very excited to try out this novelty, I've been using it during two months and I'm very happy with the results and how the finish evolves during the day. I use this foundation more than I expected.
My first impression wasn't very enthusiastic, I thought that the finish will be more glowy and radiant, as it says. For me, it has more a semi-mat to mate finish, depending of your skin type. I don't recommend you to use it if you have very dry skin, because although it contains a derivative of hyaluronic acid that provides moisture and comfort, this is not one of the most nourishing formulas that I have ever tried. My skin is normal to dry and I mostly prefer very emollient textures. However, the more I use it the more I love it. Right now, is the one I reach out the most in the morning since I bought it. I find that, even if this product is not on the glowy side of liquid foundations, it has a very elegant semi-mat finish that I really like. I don't get any shine on my "T zone" at the end of the day, even if the weather is warm. I consider that it has medium coverage, but very buildable and that it is long wearing if you add a puff of powder to set it all day long. The pigments don't get darker or oxidize after a couple of hours. The texture is very easy to blend with a brush, your fingers or a beauty blender. The formula is slightly scented, but not with a very intense or disturbing perfume, just a very nice one. I personally think that it is a plus that it has an SPF of 25, a medium sunscreen protection that is necessary for a day time makeup. This SPF combined with Kalanchoe extract, a beauty-protecting botanical ingredient strengthens the skin and protects it against environmental stress. The packaging is very luxurious with its frosted glass bottle and its useful pump. Give it a try if you have normal, combination or even oily skin.
