Rose of No Man's Land by Byredo

The Rose is the Queen of all the floral aroma compounds that we can find in Perfumery. Cultivated for centuries in many cultures, it has been used for celebrations and as a symbol of love, beauty, but also power and war. The Rose of No Man's Land is a song written by Jack Caddigan and Alexander Brennan as a tribute to the Red Cross nurses at the front lines of the first World War. These unknown Heroines saved thousands of lives in very difficult conditions. Their story is one of selfness and compassion.

I'm deeply moved by the beauty of this perfume, it's the most elegant, sophisticate and feminine scent that I have worn in a long time. When I spritz it on my wrist I feel powerful and more confident, its scent is comforting and very captivating, a touch of warmth to feel cosy during Autumn and Winter. This Eau de Parfum is centered around the Turkish Rose scent, but the other ingredients give to this delicate creation all its complexity.
The top notes are Pink Pepper and Turkish Rose Absolute, a spicy and sparkling first impression. Then, as heart notes, the Raspberry Blossom and the delicate petals of the Turkish Rose deploy all the romanticism and the sweet intensity. The base notes of White Musk and Papyrus give the final touch of dryness, sensuality and empowerment.

Jérôme Épinette is the nose behind this rich perfume, a unique Rose scent that it's pure olfactory poetry.
