Christmas Red Lipsticks

Two years ago I started to wear Red Lipstick on a daily basis for work. If I have to be honest, in the past, I used to hate how it looked on me. I was that kind of girl that swore by smoky eyes and nude lips. Now, I can't live without a touch of colour that instantly gives life to my pale complexion. It's very chic and sophisticated and a must for Christmas.
In my makeup collection I have almost 20 red hues of lip products from different brands (M.A.C., NARS, YSL, CHANEL...), but these Kate Moss x Rimmel London lipsticks are the ones that I use the most. They are amazingly long wearing, if you add several layers, and their velvety finish don't dry out your lips like the others completely matte ones that I have. The colour payoff is amazing, very pigmented and opaque for only 5€. If you are on a budget or you simply don't want to spend a lot in a lip product these lipsticks are a fantastic choice.

Rimmel Lasting Finish Matte Lipstick by Kate Moss (111)

This creamy matte shade is very comfortable to wear. It's a true red, classic and bright that adds a pop of colour to your face.
The first time that I used it, I only applied one coat and after 5 hours my lips looked like I have done some sort of ombré lip art. On the center of my lips the colour had faded and on the top it was intact. The effect was as if I had only applied lip liner and blended towards the center of my lips. One day I layered three coats of lipstick and the problem was sorted, the colour stayed beautifully throughout the day with only one retouch in the afternoon.

This shade is now a staple in my lipstick collection, a flattering red perfect to wear during Christmas.

Rimmel Lasting Finish Matte Lipstick x Kate Moss (107)

This stunning colour is darker, more sultry and intense. It's a berry red with more cool undertones than the 111 that has more orange bright ones. The pigmentation is spectacular and the texture is surprisingly creamy for a matte lipstick. This kind of wine shades can be a little bit intimidating to wear if you have a minimalistic style in makeup, but I assure you that this is one of the most flattering  reddish-Bordeaux shades that you can possibly wear.
