The Best High End Mascaras

Mascara is essential for me, it's what makes me look awake.
I'm lucky to have a considerable amount of lashes, dark and thick, but I never say no to a dramatic touch of magic.

Helena Rubinstein Sexy Black Mascara

This is my favorite mascara of them all. I don't know what it is about it, but it thickens and lengthens my eyelashes while making them look more curled and defined. The brush is perfectly shaped, inspired by a sensuous woman body with supermodel measurements of 90-60-90. This tapered hourglass brush covers pretty well all my lashes and the finish is spectacular. In 1957, Helena Rubinstein was the first to invent the mascara as we know today. Before her invention, there was only cake mascara that was a dry formula containing coal or petroleum jelly. The technique was messy, a dampened brush was rubbed against a black hard cake. Helena Rubinstein was the first to package a lotion-based cream into a tube with a brush. If you want doll lashes almost fake, this mascara was made for you.

Chanel Le Volume Mascara

This gorgeous mascara is perfect when you feel lazy, because you don't need to add layers and layers, just one is enough to cover generously all your lashes. Think about Twiggy, Edie Sedgwick, Brigitte Bardot and Jane Birkin. Its formula enriched with natural waxes delivers instant volume while rapid-drying acacia gum sets and intensifies the curl. You can feel that your lashes are heavily covered, but still flexible and supple at the same time. If you want to add a sixties vibe to your eye look this mascara is the right one for you.

M.A.C. Cosmetics Haute & Naughty Too Black Mascara

This mascara is a genius invention! You have the choice of two kind of brushes in just one product, so it's the most versatile product that will offer to you either defined or voluminous lashes. You will get two different lash effects, a polished look for day or a fuller eye look for night. This incredible product amazes me, you can play with its dual-wiper that can be adapted for different occasions.
If you are looking for a customizable mascara, a "one for all", Haute & Naughty will be great for you.

Clinique High Impact Mascara

This mascara deserves its name, because when you add more than one coat you can see the glamorous effect. This is an oldie, but a goodie that I love to have in my makeup collection. Perfect for a day makeup, but also for night, as its formula is clump-free and very buildable. It glides easily delivering to your lashes the right amount of product. I love this mascara because it makes my lashes look very long and they stay perfectly separated. If you are looking for a product that allows you to create progressively your desired look by the technique of layering, you will love this mascara.

Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Lashes

Old Hollywood mesmerizing eye makeup was the inspiration to create this mascara. When you wear Legendary Lahes, people would think that you've had lash extensions. The va-va-boom finish is perfect when you want a very sexy touch of sophistication for your eyes. I genuinely love this mascara because it gives full volume and length. The formula is creamy and enriched with Marine Glycogen that stimulates the growth of the hair follicle and the proliferation of keratin cells. It also contains Tamanu oil that nourishes, regenerates and strengths the lashes. If you want a Red Carpet effect, a real and dramatically transformation for your lashes, don't hesitate to give a try to this

Christian Dior Diorshow Mascara

This cult-classic mascara was developed after Pat McGrath was seen using a toothbrush on Dior Haute Couture Backstage. This mascara has a big wand that covers and gives shape to the lashes for a fluffy finish. Adored by professionals and celebrities this intense mascara was revamped in 2015 by Peter Philips and the Dior Cosmetics Research Team. The new formula is enriched with microfibers that optically reproduce the effect of lash extensions. Its wiper has a patented system called AIR-LOCKTM that prevents the formula from drying by the contact with the air. For feathering backstage effect lashes, you should try Diorshow.
